Great location. Nice outlook

No key in lock box. Had to find the office and staff were pretty casual. Steep stairs , my friend fell and hurt himself. There is light for the stairwell but they are not obvious.

Fantastic location and layout. Very well equipped.

Getting the keys is problematic. The guest registration portal was not functioning. It took several calls to finally just get the information to get access to the keys. THIS is another problem. You are required to go to bldg. #26 to get the keys from a lockbox. THEN the actual door to access the property is #15. THERE IS NO #15! The door that you access is not numbered. When you do finally locate it, it looks like you are entering an abandoned crack house. However, once you know where it is the actual apartment is amazing! Lots of room, comfy bed and a patio that looks out over the river. Overall one of the best properties I have stayed at and I travel several weeks each year. Just be prepared for the initial difficulties in getting the keys and finding the door.

I was a little nervous when we finally found the street door as to what to expect inside, but the apartment was beautifully styled with its combination of brick and wood. It was well furnished and has views from a balcony on both sides. The rooms are a great size and it has all of the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. We found the location to be superb. In the heart of the old town with many cafes and shops on the doorstep.

We unfortunately endured a smell from the bathroom that would come and go during our stay. This is not the apartments fault, as I noticed it in other buildings as well. The hosts said it was a seasonal issue due to standing water and running the water more often helps (it did). I didn’t notice a comment on this in other reviews, so may have just been the time of year we stayed.

Perfect location right in the heart of the city – one balcony overlooks a lively street, and the other offers a lovely view of the river and little bridges. When we asked, we were promptly given a second key. We could also leave our luggage at a nearby reception before check-in, which was very convenient.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a higher rating because we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. There was a lot of dust, dirt, and especially hair all over the floor and furniture – it was literally everywhere throughout the apartment. We had to clean the entire place ourselves before settling in to feel comfortable. Although the host offered to send someone to clean after we reported the issue, this should have been taken care of beforehand, and we did not want anyone coming in once we had already checked in. After requesting it, we were at least given a small compensation for cleaning (€80), but given the high price of the apartment, we definitely expected more. Besides the cleanliness, there was also a problem with ants – there were really a lot of them. We also had some minor complaints about the equipment. The apartment has no air conditioning, only two ceiling fans, which could have made up for the lack of AC, but the ceiling fan in the kitchen was not working. At least there were a few portable fans available. For a 7-night stay, we would also expect more cleaning and washing supplies. One dishwasher capsule and one washing machine capsule were definitely not enough for a week, so we had to buy our own. I truly hope the host takes this feedback seriously and puts more focus on cleanliness. The apartment itself is very nice and in a perfect location – which is also reflected in its price. If the above issues were resolved, it would be a perfect stay.
