    Location is good, right at the center. Sightseeing locations are all nearby. Rooms were clean. Found good hospitality after whole Vietnam trip.

    We stayed at several hotels during our Vietnam trip, and the staff at this property truly stood out. From the bellboy to the housekeeping and reception teams, everyone was cheerful, warm, and had a genuine attitude of service. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome. We arrived quite late—around 1:30 AM—due to a delayed flight, and understandably, our checkout was slightly delayed as we caught up on sleep. We requested a little extra time and were told we could check out by 12:30 PM. However, by the time we got our bags downstairs and handed over the keys, it was 12:40 PM. To our surprise, we were charged *** per room for checking out just 10 minutes late. We had 3 rooms. At no point were we informed that such a steep charge could apply. When we asked, we were shown a policy on their website stating they could charge 50% of the room rate for checkouts between 12 PM and 5 PM. I told them I was willing to pay if they could let us use the room until 5 PM, but they said no rooms were available. What felt unfair was being charged for a service that they couldn't provide. I understand if there’s a nominal fee because out 10 min delay could have caused them delay in housekeeping, but *** per room, without prior warning, felt like cheating—especially for tourists who are strangers in their country and have no way to seek justice. After a lot of discussion, the issue was amicably resolved with the help of Fiona Lee from the staff, and we ended up paying a third of the amount. I truly appreciate her maturity and willingness to find a fair resolution. My suggestion to the hotel management is to clearly communicate this late checkout policy at the time of check-in. We were anyway briefed on their policies during our checkin, but this particular late checkout amount is not mentioned there. If it were mentioned, I would have felt fair. That said, I’m still giving the hotel a 5-star rating for service because the staff truly made a lasting impression with their warmth and professionalism. For facilities, I’m rating it 4 stars—the room furniture felt a bit dated and had a slight musty smell.

    Hotel is very clean & the ambience is warm. We stayed in the family suite & it was very spacious. Beds & towels very clean. Food is a good spread & the servers very attentive and friendly. For me the takeaway was the staff. They are simply the best. Accommodating our every need & giving honest recommendations that really made this trip so awesome!! Special mention to Martin, Luca, Chau Anh & Kim! They came out to send us off waving all the way until we were out of sight! Thanks to these wonderful people!!
