Palazzo Calvi di Coenzo - Padova

Sehr schöne Wohnung im 1. Stock in altem Palazzo in der Innenstadt von Padova. Schöne und gepflegte Einrichtung in 4 grossen Räumen. Ganz tolle Nasszellen. Parkplatz im Innenhof mit grossem Portal.

Lovely apartment, plenty of space everything you need. Parking included and everywhere walkable

It was just as pictured very roomy and comfortable and very well appointed. All the rooms were large and bright and for two couples it was perfect. The hosts were very easy to contact when needed

It was spacious. The building was super cool, unfortunately there was no one who shared any information about it or it's history which must be fascinating. There was a complete lack of personality, though the building was wonderful. Upon our arrival, a hired man, a polite but rushed local uni student, met us to give us keys and collect the tax. It would have been so nice to have had a 'welcome', a short tour and brief history of the house from the owner or manager. The apartment was fine, located in the university area, protected from significant city noise. Relatively close to some of the important places to see in Padua. The apt had large windows, comfortable bathrooms. The furniture was mostly IKEA, storage was good. Kitchen was fine. The A/C's worked well. The washer had been kept closed and was moldy inside. The provided toiletries consisted of 2 packets the size of fast food mayonnaise packets of shampoo and body wash. Bring your own toiletries. The linens were fine, beds were comfortable. Other furniture was basic, but fine. A neighbor in an adjoining apt blasted TV from late afternoon until well into the night. !!!Beware upon leaving!!! the doors lock with no safety exit strategy. Without the key, which must be left in the apt, you can easily get locked in. The owner would not allow us to leave our car in the parking area for an extra hour upon checking out, despite the fact that there appeared to be plenty of space. Sadly, their ungenerous "NO" was a final disappointment.

Lack of contact with a host. The moldy washer. Fridge needed wiping out. The not generous toiletries. Loud TV in neighboring apt.
