WhiskAwayStays - Victoria House - Apartment 2

Property is nicely decorated, very clean, we had everything we needed in terms of tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials etc, beds were comfortable, shower was great, bathroom was roomy. We were very happy with the apartment. No noise from neighbours (there were neighbours, but the walls are thick so you don't hear anything). Supermarket across the road for supplies and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hosts were very attentive and made sure that everything was okay (also responding late in the evening).

Parking is really awkward. We rented a very small car at the airport so we managed to park. There are only 2 spaces available but one was taken by a large car and this left very little space for us to park. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay - no complaints whatsoever.

The property was fantastically central, so if that's what you are after, perfect. Tesco express across the road. Cathedral and main thoroughfare with restaurants, bars, takeaways literally on your doorstep. Hosts are responsive and very helpful, and lots of space and facilities within the apartment.

Quite a busy area, so if you want somewhere super quiet, this isn't it, although we had no issues with noise. Someone nicked our parking space which came with the apartment, which was annoying, but the host quickly responded, directed me to an alternative car park, and immediately reimbursed the parking charge, which was great.

Location was super central, it was up to date, modern plus lovely and clean We also liked the communication with the property team

Being extremely picky there needed to be a shelf in the bathroom
