Comfortable house in central Cambridge with private garage

Quirky house with interesting touches, comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Luxury toiletries. Excellent coffee machine.

A bit odd that the living room and master bedroom were in one (spacious) room, so we mostly sat downstairs in the kitchen, which was less comfortable. The garage was a tight fit for our Volvo XC90. Recycling instructions for plastics etc. rather confusing.

Luxurious and comfortable stay

Good location, close to the train station and city centre. Lot of shops around to buy food and drinks to enjoy at the property. Beautifully decorated. Very clean and spacious.

Great time had by all in our party, with lovely accommodation as a base.

Layout and space perfect for 4 old gentlemen having a reunion without the restrictions we’d have had if we booked into a hotel. Quiet location close to the centre which made it convenient for seeing the sites and plenty of decent restaurants, pubs and shops nearby.

You can be surprised by students whizzing by you on bicycles and electric scooters who don’t have bells land lights on at night, especially when they use the pavements as shortcuts from the roads. This is something that the locals are used to but it will probably surprise visitors.

Beautiful property, very well equipped.

Really smart property in good location next to shops, restaurants and cafes. There is garage parking for one car. Parking for additional cars can be found in a car park around the corner for a maximum of 4 hours during the day but free over night. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed for our one night stay to visit the historic town centre.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, although for visiting the historic town centre be prepared for a 30 minute walk. We discovered the number 2 bus which made it easier.

Comfort and relaxation totally

Roomy, near train station. Very comfortable. Loved the large living room/bedroom suite upstairs with the 3 person futon chaises. Remote Fireplace was nice touch. Fans in every room for stuffy nights. Nice linens.

Patio and plants need some attention. Wish a hairdryer was provided. Would have liked instructions for appliances, i.e. washer, coffee maker, etc

Some decorating was poor and untidy, which whilst this did not impact our stay, it does ruin the ‘designer/luxury’ appeal

Excellent experience made even better by the great communication and help from host/representative.

Location was good-close to shops and easy access to downtown. There was good, timely, and easy communication with host or host representative. Responsive to questions. Facilities very good-clean, modern, well maintained. Fairly well supplied with cooking equipment, utensils, glasses, and plates. Patio/back yard nicely outfitted with couches and chairs, though weather did not really permit long periods of sitting outside.

would have been nice to have a tea pot. Windows did not open all the way. Mildly difficult to close the door to the patio. Oven and microwave were beautiful but it was a little difficult to figure out how to operate them. These downsides were really very minimal and far outweighed by the positives.

Great location and great value.

Location was within walking distance of most that we did. We did use UBER for a few trips and were picked up / dropped off with no issues. The house was spacious and roomy for all 6 of us.
