Location, space, convenience

Some fixtures a little tired - dining chairs need urgent replacement as squabs have sagged, main sink tap very stiff.

The location was ideal with great facilities inside & out

Stable Cottage and the other associated cottages on site are in a marvellous location, within walking distance of Bamburgh with its wonderful beach and castle. It is also a very convenient base to explore the Northumbrian coast visiting places such Seahouses (with boat trips to see seals, puffins etc on the Farne Islands, Holy Island / Lindesfarne, Alnwick Castle, Berwick etc. Stable Cottage had all the facilities to make for a marvellous stay, including free use of a small gym, tennis courts and shared hot tub. The cottage was clean and comfortable with lots of information and a lovely welcome pack provided by the owner. It had good wi-fi access. Communications from the owner were excellent. We thoroughly recommend it and had a wonderful stay.

Well thought through and lovely and comfortable. Suitable for all ages and our little dog was very settled too. Got good use of the hot tub and my children enjoyed using the table tennis area also. Bamburgh is a lovely area and we’d love to use the cottage again!
