Disappointing place
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this accommodation and I believe I should be refunded.
Upon arrival, we were three guests, but the property provided had only one bed, despite my reservation clearly being for an apartment with two beds. After intervening and spending several minutes trying to clarify the situation, it turned out that the apartment I had booked had been given to another guest. This was a serious booking error and should never happen.
Additionally, the “apartment” turned out to be a converted garage or basement rather than a proper residential space. The only source of natural light was a very wide, glass-modified former garage door. Due to its size and poor installation, the door had clearly sagged, the lock did not work correctly, and it was not possible to close or secure the property properly.
This door was the only source of daylight, yet it could not be locked securely, making the stay feel unsafe. I was unable to leave the property safely locked with the keys.
The plumbing system also did not function properly. There was a strong and persistent sewage smell throughout the entire space, apparently coming from the septic system.
The bathroom was in unacceptable condition. The sliding bathroom door was not functional at all — it had large gaps on both sides, the upper roller was missing, and the door wheels were detached. As I was travelling with two women, the complete lack of privacy was unacceptable.
The toilet did not work properly, there was no functional bathroom door, and the smell was overwhelming.
I immediately informed the owner about all these serious issues, but unfortunately she did not acknowledge or resolve the problems.
I do not recommend this property. For me, it was a complete waste of money and not suitable for a safe or comfortable stay.
