About this house rental
Renovated house in the picturesque village of Fox-Amphoux, sleeping 8 people. Enjoy panoramic views of the Verdon, the surrounding countryside and the vineyards.
Located in the heart of Provence Verte, visit the local markets and restaurants of Cotignac, Salernes and Aups, taste local wines in the many nearby vineyards and explore the area by bike or hiking. Soak up the sun in the garden or on the roof terrace. The Gorges du Verdon and Lake Sainte-Croix are just half an hour's drive away.
The accommodation
Our newly renovated house, located in the village square opposite the historic church and a majestic 500-year-old hackberry tree, offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people.
On the first floor, the open plan living room with fireplace is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious Provençal meals with fresh, local ingredients from the nearby markets that can be enjoyed in the dining room or dine al fresco on the garden terrace perfect for memorable meals. For moments of quiet reflection, a charming reading room awaits you, with the original (now ornamental) well. A laundry room and a separate toilet are also on this level.
On the first and second floors, you will discover four welcoming bedrooms, each carefully appointed for a restful night's sleep.
The highlight: a sunny roof terrace with panoramic views.
Two of the bedrooms have spacious double beds, easily adaptable into single beds for flexibility, ensuring a comfortable stay for couples, families or friends travelling together.
Outside, a private garden, where you can bask in the sun, surrounded by lavender, olive trees and a fig tree, indulge in alfresco dining or simply soak up the serenity of the surroundings. To cool off in the summer, a tubular above-ground swimming pool with a diameter of 3m. The garden is separated from the house (5 metres) by a path.
