Stayed at Smoky Barn Cabin over July 4th weekend. We make a trip to the area with our friends every year. Overall it was a good trip. The cabin was mostly clean and ready for us when we arrived. Only complaints on cleanliness is that we walked through a lot of cobwebs inside the house when we first got there. While we were there we found a bunch of dead ants in the upstairs bathroom. Also, the entire stay the shower in the downstairs bathroom barely drained. Anything longer than a quick rinse off shower and it would start to overflow onto the bathroom floor. The mattress protector on the downstairs bed is slippery plastic and makes noise any time you move on the bed. Not a big issue unless you are a light sleeper. The rest of the cabin was great. Felt secluded and the outdoor space and hot tub was used a favorite of our group. While we enjoyed our stay, I think this may be the first time we spent more time outside our cabin than inside. The outside space is just so nice and relaxing, The only other issue is the checkout instructions printed in the cabin were slightly different than what was emailed. Upon cleaning up we discovered that the bear box outside was completely full as they had never emptied it from the people before us. I called the 800 number to ask what we should do with our trash and we were told to just fit it in the bear box as best we could because he couldn’t get in touch with the office for our property. Overall though, it was a good stay.

Great location out by itself quite but only a short drive to anything that you want to do.
I would definitely stay there again!!!
