Located in the quiet Agate Bay neighborhood of Carnelian Bay, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath mountain retreat comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests and offers the perfect balance of cozy cabin character and fresh renovations.
Recently remodeled, the home features new flooring, updated bathrooms, and a refreshed kitchen, creating a bright and welcoming space for your Tahoe getaway. The open living area showcases soaring A-frame ceilings and abundant natural light, making it an ideal place to gather with family or friends after a day outdoors.
Upstairs you'll find a spacious primary suite with a king bed and private bathroom, offering a peaceful retreat with views of the surrounding trees.
Downstairs are two additional bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen bed, while the second includes a bunk bed plus a twin bed, making it ideal for kids or extra guests. A second full bathroom is also located on the main level for convenience.
Step outside onto the large south-facing deck, a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon sun in the Sierra. After a day skiing, hiking, or exploring Lake Tahoe, relax and unwind in the private hot tub under the mountain sky.

Important:
On March 11th 2022, Placer County implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500 - $5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance.
Some Highlights Include:
•Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4
Due to extreme fire danger- The use of any outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited in any of our rental properties. All charcoal or wood burning bbq's are strictly prohibited. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.

This is a fantastic home with great hosts! We are an extended family of 10 and just spent a perfect week in this Lake Tahoe- front property. The kids spent hours paddling in the lake in kayaks provided at the home. We rented a boat for a day and used the shared pier and tie-up bouy. Everything about the home was first class. The hosts were super responsive through the whole process: reservation, during the stay, and at check out. We would love to stay here again and give it our highest recommendation. 5 Stars – Beautiful Location and Immaculately Clean PropertyWe had a fantastic stay at this Lake Tahoe Vrbo! The location was absolutely beautiful—nestled in nature with easy access to the lake and nearby trails. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly take great care in providing a comfortable and relaxing experience. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Tahoe!
