About this house rental
The Carnelian Lodge Log Home offers the mountain lodge home feel with log construction combined with French country decor. With an expansive deck with patio furniture and a hot tub, the home offers great indoor and outdoor living.
Main Level: Features a grand living room with trussed cathedral ceilings with a wood burning fireplace, adjoining bar area, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, bathroom, and a side den area with two glass doors allowing people to work away from the rest of the group. The back deck faces open forest for wonderful seclusion with patio furniture, propane BBQ, and new hot tub (May 2024).
Upstairs: A spacious master bedroom with extra sitting area, dual vanity, and tub shower. This level also has a second master bedroom with queen bed and attached bath.
Lower Level: The lower level bedroom has a double futon, sitting area, TV, vintage slot machine, games, and built in desk.
Over Garage Unit/Garrett: This room features a kitchen, sitting area with one of the few comfortable pull out sofa sleepers, gas fireplace, and TV.

The managers of the house were very communicative and repsectful. My one complaint is that you have to walk around the entire house to get to the back deck because they permanently locked the back doors

We had an amazing time and the host was very communicative. We met some neighbors who told us about the house and the family who lived there. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

We had an amazing stay for 5 nights. Plenty of memories were made, lake was epic, hot tub after cold lake was even better. The property was experiencing a mouse problem which was addressed when we discovered it the day we checked in however we continued to have mouse issues throughout the stay. The property is in the woods so these things can be expect I guess. Also, the pull out bed in the space above the garage is worn out.
