We enjoyed our stay and, overall it was nice. There are just a few things it still needs to get 5 stars.The apartment was clean, except that the sofa is quite stained and there was a disposable contact lens stuck to the coffee table that the cleaning people had missed. There were two bath towels when we arrived, but we had to root around in the basement for a hand towel for the bathroom and a kitchen towel. There was soap on the sink, but not in the shower. There were plenty of plates and cutlery for eating, but no wine glasses. There were only 2 of us, so this didn't matter for us, but I am dubious that 3 or 4 people would fit comfortably.On the more positive side, the a/c in both the kitchen and bedroom worked well in 90 degree weather. In our three day stay, we always found parking right outside on the street. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was big (plenty of closet space, no drawers or bedside tables). Communication with the host was seamless. We had no problems with the wifi.

The space worked for us, but was a typical short-term rental: a little sterile, would be hard to live in, with some quirks. The house is the only painted and gentrified-looking one on the block. Our key was left in the apartment door when we checked in, which I didn't love. There should probably be a lock box. There's a beehive in the backyard that needs to be taken care of, and there was so much pollen on the ground. I wish there had been a broom. There was very limited seating in the place and no soap in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was finicky and had to be turned off and on to work. There's a fancy tablet on the table but it was making an error beep the entire time. The AC in the room was great but the rest of the place was pretty hot. The basement is a little creepy. It worked for us though as we weren't spending much time there.

Cozy little city nook located in University City, South West Philadelphia. Near Universities, police station, hospitals, restaurants, a supermarket and so on, very convenient location. Plenty of sleeping areas, comfy beds, Powerful showers and air conditioners. Cute deck. Quiet neighbors. Near public transportation. Truly enjoyed our stay.

A nice apartment that completely satisfied my needs. I would definitely recommend to anyone. The host and manager provided what was offered above and beyond the listing
