Live Loftily at University City

The property was lovely, roomy, had snacks and a well stocked kitchen, soap/shampoo/toilet paper/paper towels etc. It was a very nice and relaxing stay. The fenced in patio was lovely. So glad we found this place closer to the Penn campus than our students' apartment! The bathrooms were on the 2nd and 3rd level only, and the stairs are a little steep so less mobile people may not love that. The AC was great, however, the temp was in the 90s when we were there and the two bedrooms on the third floor didn't cool well enough. Maybe we should have reduced the temperature downstairs? Good to know: Street parking is free but 2 hour limit M-F during posted hours. One block away from the Penn campus (just up the same street) is 24 hour free street parking (good to know!). Also, the door autolocks after a set amount of time.

I'd go back in a heartbeat. Oh yeah you can hear everything being said by others on other levels, it is a. very open property and so you lose some noise privacy

We came for a volleyball tournament, house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for our to share with another family and close enough to subway to walk. It is located in the city, so be aware of your surroundings if you are out walking or taking subway but that’s just a general “life” tip. Beds are comfy. Kitchen and access to laundry also helpful.

Couple small things that would be beneficial-larger trash can for kitchen. Maybe some better knifes or a pizza cutter—and the outlets upstairs are in the floor. The covering for the outlets is raised so it’s impossible to charge anything on 2nd floor (bring a power strip so you can use 2nd floor outlets) .

It was very clean, great for 6 people or less, super nice backyard and very fancy :]

It was kind of hard to always go to my room to get stuff because it was on the 3rd floor

Spacious and well appointed

Very bad mildew smell. A/C helped. There also were cockroaches.
