About this house rental
In this cozy cabin with a Nordic flair, you’ll be immediately immersed in the natural wonders of Norway. Situated on the stunning Hardangerfjord, this beautiful vacation cabin offers a first-class setting with a picturesque fjord and the surrounding mountains. Whether from the porch or inside the cabin, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Norwegian fjord landscape, with mountains rising directly from the fjord.
Our Norwegian log cabin, built in the Scandinavian style, exudes a traditional local charm and features a spacious living and dining area. Adjacent to this is an open kitchen where you can prepare your fresh catch together.
Throughout the vacation rental, Scandinavian furniture creates a particularly cozy atmosphere. Spend cozy hours in front of the traditional Jøtul wood-burning stove and reflect on your vacation days as the fire crackles.
Two bedrooms accommodate up to 5 people. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, and Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed for three people. The living room features a cozy sofa and an armchair.
Local pine and spruce used as building materials throughout the house exude Norwegian charm and create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
The vacation home features numerous windows, ensuring that the rooms remain bright and inviting even on overcast days. The spacious bathroom includes a shower stall, a sink, and a toilet.
Two other identical vacation homes, Fjordhytte 1 and 3, are located right next door. All homes are approximately 100 meters from the Hardangerfjord. Pine and birch trees, which provide pleasant shade on sunny days, also ensure plenty of privacy.

the view from the terrace ist fantastic. at night you can possibly hear the whales blowing.
be aware of a narrow driveway to the parking and a stairway from the parking to the cabin
a washing machine and a new stove would be nice. also the fridge seems to be running constantly no matter what the temperature is set.
no tv and the low speed internet are acceptable.
