About this house rental
Charming, traditional log cabins for a cozy cabin vacation. Our vacation cabins are located in the Hordaland region, on the Hardanger in the municipality of Kvinnherad. The location of these cozy log cabins is truly remarkable, as they are perched on a prominent hillside with magnificent views of the spectacular Hardangerfjord, the rugged rocky landscape, and the snow-capped mountain peaks. On sunny evenings, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view from the cabin of a unique and unforgettable sunset.
In the vicinity of this beautiful cabin are two identical vacation homes, which are, however, well separated from one another by vegetation, ensuring you’ll be virtually undisturbed. Built in the Scandinavian style, the vacation cabin features a spacious living and dining area, which opens onto the kitchen. The property is equipped with large windows that create a warm and bright atmosphere. Two cozy bedrooms accommodate a total of 5 people. One has a double bed, and the other has a bunk bed for three people. The living room features a comfortable sofa that was purchased in 2023.
Enjoy the cabin’s charm and cozy atmosphere by the Norwegian Jøtul wood-burning stove, with its crackling fire and soothing warmth.
On the large sun terrace of this wonderful log cabin, you can truly unwind while the rest of the family goes fishing or the children run around in nature.
Two identical cabins, Fjordhytte 2 and 3, are located nearby. The property is covered with pine, spruce, fir, birch, and ferns.

Fishing in the nearby fjord is an unforgettable experience even for beginners, and even an inexperienced angler can land a nice fish. Sometimes very large fish—weighing over 10 kg—are caught in the fjord.

New fishing regulations for tourism in Norway: This vacation rental, FH-1, and the neighboring properties, FH-2 and FH-3, are registered specialized tourism fishing operations; therefore, as a renter of this house, you are permitted to export fish from Norway.
20 PS Motorboat - separate online booking
A 20 PS motorboat can be rented online; personal flotation devices in various sizes are available at the house. All of our boats are the same size, sturdy, and safe. Norway-Fjordhytter places great emphasis on low fuel consumption and environmental protection, which is why we exclusively use 4-stroke engines in our own vacation homes. Along with your travel documents, you’ll receive detailed operating instructions for using the boat’s engine and the boat itself.
