About this house rental
From this vacation home, you can enjoy both the proximity to the Hardangerfjord and the secluded location of the property on a wooded lot near Rosendal in the municipality of Kvinnherad. There are three other vacation homes near this one, which can also be rented through our website.
The house’s numerous windows let in plenty of light and offer beautiful views of the outdoors. Step inside this cozy, well-furnished vacation home and unwind. You’ll find a lovely living room and a kitchen with a dining area.
In the fjord, you can catch all the fish species found in the North Atlantic, such as cod, pollock, mackerel, plaice, ling, monkfish, and salmon. Fishing in the Hardangerfjord is a great experience, even for beginners. In Norway, you don’t need a fishing license in the fjord.
But there’s also plenty to discover on land—a unique feature of this municipality is the Folgefonna Glacier, which you can hike up to from Sundal. The charming surroundings showcase the country’s true contrasts at a glance: while you’re carving turns on skis high up on the glacier in the middle of summer, you can watch the summer bustle along the fjord deep down in the valley. Furthermore, right here in the heart of the magnificent and famous Hardangerfjord lies the extensive and well-known fruit-growing region. As you pass by, be sure to sample the region’s freshly harvested fruit offered at small stands.
The nearest major towns are Rosendal and Odda. There you’ll find supermarkets, sports shops, restaurants, and boutiques.
