About this house rental
Come and get away from it all in an exceptional setting (the property is in a Natura 2000 zone), and discover our beautiful region, its castles, and the Beauval zoo (about 15 minutes away), among others.
At the crossroads of Touraine, Sologne and Berry, in the region of the Loire Castles, many other activities are offered in season: cycling (bike room at your disposal), canoeing on the Loire and the Cher, hiking, horseback riding (several centres nearby), hot air balloon flights, entertainment and shows in the castles, festivals and markets, etc... It's impossible to get bored!
We welcome you all year round, for a cultural or relaxing stay, by the week, or at weekends and mid-weeks.
After your visits, you can relax around our swimming pool (12m by 6m), open for swimming from May 15th to September 15th. In May and September, the dates may be modulated if the weather conditions are exceptional. Babies and young children before potty training are not allowed in the pool: we lend a more suitable baby pool. The hours of access to the pool are communicated to you on site (generally: 10am-12pm and 2:00pm-7pm). It is shared with us and our second cottage (with a capacity of 4 people)
This cottage is an independent house, with a large enclosed private garden, terrace and outdoor equipment (deckchairs, barbecue, garden table and chairs). It is close to our house (restored mill), but at a sufficient distance for perfect calm, without any vis-à-vis and allows you to benefit from an exceptional environment (river and pond of 1.6 ha). We gladly lend a boat for a trip on the river or pond. Fishing is also possible (no kill). You will have access to an outbuilding if necessary to store your equipment.
Toddlers welcome) with free loan of baby equipment: BB bed, high chair, etc..
Your 4-legged companions are also accepted in the cottage and in its garden (only 1 pet per stay).
Layout of the house (surface area of 80 m² usable, about 90 m² on the ground):
First floor (access by a small staircase of 3 steps): living room (with a sofa bed for 2 people, (quality mattress), open kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, and separate toilet. Shutters on the windows and blackout blind on the door, for those who sleep in the convertible.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (partly under the sloping ceiling), one of which has a 140 cm bed and a large skylight, and the other with 2 x 90 cm beds, with a roof window and a single window.
Complete household appliances: washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, Tassimo coffee machine and electric kettle, toaster, blender, flat-screen TV, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Free WIFI.
Optional service offered for stays of at least one week: end-of-stay cleaning fee (40 e) – . Our rents include an electric flat rate of 8 kwh per day. Beyond that, and on meter reading, consumption is to be paid at the end of your stay. The flat rate is always sufficient if it is not necessary to heat the cottage.
An uncashed deposit cheque of €300 will be requested on arrival and returned on the day of your departure, in the absence of damage.
