About this cottage rental
Key features * Private four person hot tub, a sprial staircase leading into a large cozy loft bedroom, complimentary continental style breakfast, charcuterie and wine packages available, onsite home bakery, 5 minute walk to the beach, roughly 30 minutes to Mount Washington, 10 minutes to shopping, entertainment and dining.
The beautifully renovated White Rabbit Inn is located in the Craigdarroch beach neighbourhood on the Royston and Union Bay border. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach with multiple areas to launch your kayak and paddle boards, there is marine wildlife, various species of birds and a wonderful view of Tree Island. The suite is detached from the main house where we reside year-round. It offers a private entrance, a patio with a private four person hot tub, a barbecue, wicker rocking chairs and bistro table. You will also have access to our beautiful garden that includes a pond with fish you can feed and fire pit. Inside you will enjoy high vaulted ceilings with a spiral staircase that leads into a large loft bedroom. Downstairs you will find a brand-new large bathroom with a soaker tub as well as a large eat in kitchen and living room. Stay with us to relax, unwind, and enjoy the privacy. We are close to great restaurants, shops, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, golf courses and a two-minute drive to the famous King Fisher Resort and Spa.
Owners live on site in the house that offers the White Rabbit Inn. ***** Rambo is our resident pet he’s a little black bear dog. We also have two rabbits that are often outside enjoying the sunshine, feel free to go say hi! Due to the bunnies, we prefer not to have other pets on the premises. Our home is best suited for adult guests due to the spiral staircase. We do not provide cots, bassinets, or cribs however children are welcome too, but we recommend they are supervised when using the spiral staircase. The suite is best suited for a maximum of four, for your comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at the White Rabbit. It’s a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood, yet just a short drive from many points of interest in the Comox Valley. The nearby beach was perfect for a dinner picnic. The hosts were kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.One note: the listing mentions “breakfast included,” but it’s more of a light offering (some baked goods, fruit and coffee) rather than a full breakfast. I did find it a bit pricey for a one-bedroom, though I booked last-minute after my original option fell through due to recent changes in BC’s short-term rental regulations.
