Welcome to “Valor Circle Cottage!” Our modern 2BD cottage (sleeps 4) is ideally located in the Capitol City of Frankfort, this charming cottage offers an old charm with modern update. Start your Bourbon Trail adventure at Buffalo Trace(2 miles), then head 10 miles to Woodford Reserver or Castle & Key. The capital is a 4 minute walk. We think our place will help you experience everything Frankfort has to offer.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor and ample natural light streaming through the windows. The living room provides a comfortable space to unwind after a day of exploration, complete with plush seating and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment needs. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances

Awkward layout with kitchen down ricketty stairs. Tasteful nice decor, but lots of nicked walls, holes in walls, flaking paint and bubbling wallpaper. Lawn was not mowed and quite long. Mosquitos attacked as soon as dog went into long grass. Skunk ran out of grass once, freaked us out. It must have come from vacant overgrown lot next door and hole in fence. It was hard to see with overgrown grass until it ran away. Charcoal grill hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long, and no charcoal provided.

This house is nice, very clean and comfortable. The host communicated extremely well. It is in a great location and worked awesome for our two couples spending the weekend enjoying some of the Bourbon trail. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house is so cute! Very beautifully decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect if you are looking to explore Frankfort. We were able to walk to downtown from this location. I would warn those that may not be able to do stairs, that you do need to go downstairs to have access to the kitchen and second bedroom. But the main floor you walk in on has a bathroom, bedroom and living room space. We definitely would use this cottage again for future visits if available!

This little house was perfect for my friends and I this week! The host was super responsive to all my questions and needs. Close to downtown and the bourbon trails. Really enjoyed our time!

Dont be turned off by location or outside appearance. Inside decore is really nice. AC a little tough to figure out but works to make ot comfortable in summer. Upstairs shower loses hot water after one shower but downstairs is fine. Really centralized location for exploring the Frankfort/Lawrenceburg area.

Great location. Close to distilleries, state capitol, museums etc. Nice neighborhood. Great for walking the dog. Also not far from Lexington and Louisville. Made a trip to Churchill Downs. Highly recommend it! Very clean.

This property was clean and spacious. Comfortable furniture. The bedding and bathroom towels were high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. Coffee machine (pot & kcup), coffee kcups, coffee syrups and a variety of sweeteners were provided. The location was a 15 minute walk to downtown Frankfort. I would stay there again.

This adorable house is located just a few blocks from the capital building. My husband and I enjoyed walking there area. Just a short drive to a lot of distilleries and wineries. There house was clean and decorated wonderfully.

The house is quaint and a bit "old fashioned" (in a good way, evoking warm memories from our childhood--we are in our 70s). It has been very nicely updated, is very clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. We walked several times to downtown, and to the new capital building. Very conveniently located to downtown shopping and museums, plus to the northeast part of the Bourbon Trail, which was the focus of our visit. Plenty of parking at the house location. We very much enjoyed the visit!

Pit stop on our way south to Florida with our 2 pups. Clean, convenient, spacious, and cozy. We toured Buffelo Trace and came back for a bonfire and then walked downtown for dinner. Perfect! Pups loved the fenced yard.

This house was extremely clean and had so much space!! The rooms were large, extremely comfortable beds, and very quiet. The location to downtown was perfect. You could get to restaurants, coffee shops, and any bars within minutes. It is a quick easy walk to take in the beautiful town of Frankfort!! We were 15 min away from our favorite distilleries, and only 25 min from some others. So it’s a great location to visit multiple distilleries if that is what you’re going for. We have visited Frankfort for the last 4 years and this house was one of our favorites. In the evening we had a bonfire in the back yard, and relaxed by fire. The host was extremely quick to respond making the stay that much better, and provided extra toiletry items in case you forget anything. For 4 people it was the perfect home, with sooo much space, and privacy for each couple as the bedrooms and baths were on two different floors. We loved it and will return next year!!

Unfortunately the next door neighbor and other houses on the street were not in good condition. Especially the house right next door which was abandoned and had piles of garbage outside as well as a rusted out car on the street. As two females we did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. We stayed for the first night o but we were nervous all night and decided to leave the property the next day. I asked about a possible discount since we were not happy with accommodations but received none. I understand the rules regarding reimbursement but this was not at all what we expected of the neighbor hood. We were told by the owner the neighbors were aware and that they watched the property - that did not make us feel any better. This was my first VRBO experience and my last.

The locations is great! Truly walking distance to the charming main street, with great bars and restaurants. The house is beautiful! Not only the decor but also comfortable. I mostly use VRBO for my vacations, locally and internationally, and this house is by far the best! They provide with everything you need and more! I've been using VRBO since 2015 and this house is a winner for me.
