About this house rental
A comfortable holiday cottage, well appointed with the bonus of a lovely inground pool with shadesail.
Situated on a leafy, corner block, Curlew Cottage is no. 10 Gustav Court, with offstreet parking on Barton Street and a side pedestrian gate leads to to the back covered veranda with Weber bbq and outdoor seating.
The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, oven, in-built microwave, double sink, electric stovetop and dishwasher.
The air conditioned living area has cozy lounges and flows to the kitchen, indoor dining area and the TV room is a step down with more couches and a study desk.
Three bedrooms have built in robes - there is a queen bed and extra TV in the main bedroom, double bed in the second room and a single bed with trundle in the third bedroom suitable for children.
Stylish bathroom has a full size bath tub, separate shower and vanity and the toilet is adjacent. Internal laundry with Fisher and Paykel washer/dryer
The lagoon style pool has a beach entry, excellent for children and the leafy and lovely gardens surrounding the home provides ample privacy for a wonderful holiday experience.
Only a 10 minute stroll to shops, cafes and restaurants and 50 metres from the nearest bus stop.

We all enjoyed our 2 day stay.
It felt like a lovely holiday house, every mod con, but without the sharp glitz of some resorts.
Aircon in the bedrooms would be a great addition.

The property is good for its age and has been done up well to suit short stay renters.
Cindy came quickly to fix an outside light that wasn't working so that was a wonderful help and allowed us to better use the deck.
The only thing that was a problem for me was that the ceiling fan in the bedroom with the double bed would only work on settings 2 and 3, not on setting one, which made it noisy and blowy when trying to sleep.
Overall a good, quiet place with very friendly wildlife
