We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel, staff were always friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds, stylishly decorated and for me who struggles with the heat air conditioning was a godsend as very hot weather in June. The location was in a quiet area but close enough to walk through the park to the museum quarter. We found' Bagels and Beans', a short walk away, (just turn left round the corner on to Overtoom ), a good place for breakfast. We did have breakfast one day at the hotel and this was good with a small selection of breads ,pastries , smoked salmon and eggs. There is a couple of cafes in the park and if you walk further down Overtoom there are more cafes and bars. Although not close to the centre we found most places walkable and there are trams and buses. I would say to look out for bicycles as they are everywhere and seem to have the right of way even over pedestrians and unless you are experienced cycling around Amsterdam it isn't a safe option for tourists.

A really beautiful hotel, comfy beds, coffee in room, fridge, good shower/ bathroom, air-conditioning,which was needed as heatwave when we visited. The lovely friendly staff made us feel welcome and the location was a good with a short 5 minute walk to the park, which was good for a cut through to the museum square, another 15 minutes walk. Bagels and Beans on Overtoom, around the corner, was good for breakfast/brunch.

Staff was lovely throughout the whole stay and accommodated us in every way possible. Great location and very clean and nice room.
