The property is well situated on the side of the river with the most exquisite view of the mountains. The cottage was very private, cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor braai area is also great for sitting around and socialising.

The cottage was wonderful, and the location even better. A perfect weekend escape: cosy cottage, unbeatable surroundings. If only we could slow down the time.
We did miss having a microwave, but it wouldn’t stop us from returning. The gas stove worked very well and everything was spotless.

Good location just up from from the river in lovely natural setting. Felt just remote enough to be peaceful and private but also safe. Off-grid worked well. Enjoyed the inflatables and kayaks. Layout of house to face river very nice. Appreciated the ease of simply getting and returning the keys from lock box.
Consider a price reduction for groups that aren't couples - we were 3 single people so one of us slept in the living room (which was comfortable though).
Some beach/river towels might be good.
Was a little disappointed that we couldn't go further up or down the river - there's a great swimming section, but reeds on either end so couldn't kayak further.
Setting the alarm on and off makes a huge noise!

It is an incredibly cosy house with an stunning view and amazing tranquility. Everything that you need is there, and more. We really enjoyed our stay. There we lots of fun games to play during the cooler nights and we had such good laughs.
