HEIDI'S ALM Retreat and Cottage

This was truly a unique experience. The cottage is situated at the bottom of a farm, and really does provide a very secluded experience surrounded by nature. The pool was natural, filled with water from the mountain springs and was just stunning. The place is very quaint, and made us feel like we were in the south of France with the little boule piste in the garden. We were able to bbq over a fire which was also super unique for us, and next time would love to test the wood fired pizza oven. We will absolutely book again but for a much longer stay in order to appreciate the serenity and peace this place and everything it has to offer.

There is no reception at all for phones - not a negative point, just very important to note! WiFi was provided throughout the entire place so no problem for us.

Das Haus liegt inmitten einer grossen Farm, direkt neben einem Fluss wo man fischen kann. Ich würde sagen man sollte sich die location zuerst auf der website des Betreibers (tzwalu.com) ansehen. Es ist absolut ruhig; Zugang ist am besten mit einem 4x4 da die strasse die zum Hause führt ( ab eingang zu der Farm) sehr steinig ist. Beim Haus angelangt ist alles perfekt. Superpool mit Naturwasser, Elektrisch wird über Sonnenkollektors bezogen, klares wasser aus den bergen etc. Natur Pur! Die Farm hat viele Spazierwege, die auch mit Fahrrädern genutzt werden können. Green Egg BBQ beim Pool und grosser Braai beim Haus plus Gasgrill zusätzlich und !!!!Pizzaofen!!!

Alles war einfach perfekt und wir haben absolut keine Kritik und nichts aus zu setzen. Pool ist mit Naturwasser, und deshalb kann er manchmal ein bisschen kalt sein; tut aber bei der Hitze auch gut :-)
