Beautifully presented with a recent renovation. Light and bright. Everything was supplied and all ours needs were met - heated towel rail, comfy bed, full kitchen supplies, nice TV and simple check in/out.

We stayed three nights at ByTheSea, 4 Hutton Rd, Port Elliot and thoroughly enjoyed it — 9/10. The location is exceptional, virtually on the seafront, with a large balcony offering uninterrupted ocean views right through to Victor Harbor and The Bluff. The home has been tastefully renovated, with comfortable furniture and beds, a great bathroom with excellent shower pressure, and a well-equipped kitchen — including a superb DeLonghi coffee machine (a real highlight), plus plenty of wine glasses and coffee mugs. The original artwork throughout the home was a lovely touch, far more interesting than the usual seaside prints. The contemporary Samsung TVs offered excellent picture quality, and both the free WiFi and mobile reception were strong and reliable. The only thing that would have made it a 10/10 for us would have been a small welcome gift (such as a bottle of wine), which many local holiday homes provide and we had expected. Overall, a wonderful stay in a fantastic location.
