This is a truly special place to stay! There’s not only a lot of space (we were in Room A as a family), it’s also beautifully decorated. If you’re looking to experience an authentic and traditional Japanese home, this is it! And you’ll have a wonderful host with Katsu. His recommendations were spot on - which we especially appreciated after arriving very spontaneously. We had a great time at the Ozu ukai together! And he took the kids tomato and cucumber picking in the garden.

立地が素晴らしい。美しい盆地の景観の中たまに走る列車。夜は星。食事はオーナー手作りの鯛ごはんに追加でさつま汁をオーダー。トワイライトタイムに外で食べた食事は贅沢の極み。暗くなってから花火。夏休みってかんじでした。オーナー、ありがとう。

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The owner is an amazing host and cooked us incredibly yummy meals for both dinner and breakfast. We were also treated to some excellent sake, which was such a generous and thoughtful touch.
This is truly a wonderful place, and we highly recommend it!!
