Central Coastal Apartment

Location is perfect and you have free parking without having to drive into the main town area, so really that was perfect. It is such a great area and only 10mins walk from the main street. The apartment is beautiful and so comfortable with different seating (dining table!) and the armchair which I just loved. The bed was super comfy and we appreciated having decent furniture to unpack our clothes – the drawers and open shelving were great. On arrival, we had a wee bit of trouble finding the keys as we went to the wrong door! But a really nice man from the other apartment helped us out – once we found the right front door it was easy. We'd had experience with keypad/turning dial thing before so got the hang of it. TV was super, we just logged into our own Disney Plus and were able to watch our favourite shows. The area is really really good and 2mins from Far Land Provisions which became our favourite spot. The staff are super friendly, coffee and the sandwiches are great. There's nothing more New England (or USA) than sitting on a front porch in the sun! I was sad to leave. Other recommendations: *The Post Office bar – try the Codfather burger and a pint of Fiddlehead IPA. Delicious! Staff are amazing! *The Canteen – with the beach patio seating out back. Superb. The food was delicious and staff are lovely. I'm sure its all more intensely busy during height of the season, were there late Sep/early Oct so things had quietened down but not stopped entirely. Really that suited us best and we probably arrived at just the right time. Overall it was ideal to have a wee home from home in this great town and wish we'd stayed longer.

Minor issue with getting the keys but we were at the wrong door! We had bit of a panic, but people in the town are just lovely and friendly, we just asked for help!

Clean. In an excellent location.

The heat didn’t work very well. This apartment shouldn’t be rented early or late in the season. The WiFi kept going away. We contacted Vacasa to see if something could be done. They said they would get back to us, but never did.

Great location. Cute architecture. Well stocked kitchen.

Mattress and bed pillows were tremendously uncomfortable. Living room furniture has seen better days.
