Value for money and a comfortable stay for single dwellers.

Value for money. Location is really good, also there's a little Italy pizza place open till late for any hungry travellers. Street parking is ample but read the relevant permit signs for some streets. The room was ok. I would recommend if you can..... to bring your own pillow and an extra personal blanket for a good night sleep. This is why my stay went much better then expected. Also bring your own house slippers. Other plus points. You get hot water, the WiFi works and there is a bedside lamp and room kettle.

Just some minor points. The property heating is controlled by a thermostat by entrance stairs but that only links to central heating for the communal areas and not the individual rooms. If the owner wanted to improve the experience especially for winter dwellers you have to have central heating in the rooms themselves! It's cold at night! Hence the comment in the review of bringing your own blanket. Maybe consider individual room thermostats to focus heating in occupied rooms only. Room 6 smells like someone was smoking in there recently. The two communal bathroom sinks are too small. No wonder water sprays and spills everywhere when people use the facilities.. The small space on the sink to temporarily place your toiletries was cluttered with various bottles. There is no hook on door or area to hang your bath towel/bath robe. There is a radiator/towel but hand towels are crammed in there. No wall mounted shelves/ledge/ basket to put your stuff on or in. 1st floor bathroom 1 sink has a slow drainage problem. Please rectify. Overall cleanliness could be better. There is grime in the skirting wherever you look including in bathrooms. Decor could be upgraded in general to upgrade from stained walls and plaster in the property. .

The location is near the train station, turn toward the train station, go down the road, till reach the main road,about 10 minutes by foot,you will find the bus to city centre.

It was a place that was very hot and somewhere to sleep.

You were not greeted on arrival, so getting the code for the front and room doors was a problem. They send the codes to your booking account. Once in your room, you have no wardrobe. Just a metal stand with 3 hangers and 2 canvas shelves that had holes in them. Also, there not that clean. You have a foldable table and a chair that have seen better days. Beside the bed, you will find a 2 drawer cabinet. On top is your kettle and lamp, which are connected to the single wall socket by a double adapter. You also find your tea,coffee, and sugar in a jar with a loose middle lid. There's a cup, glass, plate and cutlery. The room at night gets very hot with the heating but if you stay more than 3 nights. You might struggle for heat. There was parts of the wall were the plaster was cracked or had a hole in it from the plaster bubbling. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else.

Very clean, basic, low cost accommodation in a terraced house near shops.

Cleanliness, quietness of my room at the back of the house, warmth, very low cost. The shared bathrooms are very small, but have everything necessary. They are very clean. The water is very hot. There are bus and train stops nearby. It's in an inner-city residential area that felt safe, with a corner shop two doors down that opens early and closes late, and takeaways nearby. The name, Majestic Inn, made us laugh. It is a terraced house on an inner-city street. The kitchen is well enough equipped to enable food preparation, cooking simple meals on the hob, and store food in the fridge.

No self-lighting/matches/lighter for gas hob in kitchen and I was told that it was "against policy" for guests to cook. When I asked why saucepans and a working hob were provided in that case, the answer changed to telling me to buy matches from the nearby shop. It was difficult to work out how to open the front door from the instructions given, and our code would not work but the management realised this and gave us another. My friend's bedroom STANK of cigarette smoke. She had to buy air freshener and use it a lot and even then a taint remained. When the room was cleaned and clean sheets put on earlier, staff must have noticed the smell and should have taken action to remove it then. When I complained, I was told that guests were not allowed to smoke; well, clearly someone had and I said that. I was then told that they had tried to remove the smell. They hadn't tried hard enough imo. My room was quiet but my friend was kept awake by music from a television(?) until very late on 2 of the 3 nights. No sharp knives for food prep, but I had brought one so was ok.

The room was really nice beds very comfy, shared bathrooms but very clean excellent value for money would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family also train station not far to get back to the city center. Plenty of kebabs shops and normal shops, reasonably priced

Very unhappy with accommodation some one staying having various visitors no need to say more, only one towel per room one mug for drinks was thinking of finding other accommodation but to many of us.

- check in instructions were clear & simple. - you have everything you need considering the affordable price we paid. - comfortable bed & slept well.

- the window was wide open and was not able to close it. - when you walk in, there was a strong musty smell in the room but was bearable. - one of the shared bathroom doors would not shut properly so we had to take turns and guard the door.

Nicely sized room, clean bathrooms, easy to check in (it's staffless check-in), very close to metro station (I travelled to city centre by metro), comfy bed, overall I come to liverpool 1-2 times a year and this is not the first time I stayed there.

Clean. We'll organised to get into the premisses. Parking is on the road, but plenty of slots. For the price it was good. Bed really comfortable I'm glad the heating went off at night as it was on full blast and you cannot adjust.

Location, no sign, took us to an old people’s home from the directions, this shouldn’t be a hotel! It’s more a shared flat, stairs are so narrow can’t believe I booked this. No tele no nothing awful didn’t even stay i left and I’ll be looking for a full refund

Bed was extra uncomfortable and made me sweat a lot memory foam mattress super uncomfortable. on a super busy road at still nearly 2am in the morning and constantly cars noisy driving up and down the road really off putting trying to get to sleep living nightmare after a busy day.
