I highly recommend staying at Avgi Villa & Avra ​​House with Shared Pool by Filoxenia Villas in Corfu. We spent a wonderful week with my family. Previously, I had led a week-long catamaran cruise as a captain. Staying at the villa was a great way to relax and enjoy the children. The apartments are spacious and meticulously finished, with great attention to detail. The kitchen was equipped with everything a family needs for a week-long stay, and even longer. There were even spices, tea, coffee pods, olive oil, etc., as well as washing machine pods. The children spent almost all their time at the pool. There's also a table for lunch or a barbecue, which is available in a corner of the garden. The hosts are very kind, smiling, and helpful. Many thanks to Angelos and his parents, Angelika and Kostas. The villas are located a short distance from the center of Gouvia, so it's good to have a rental car for getting around the island. We, of course, visited Kerkyra (the old town and the morning fish and vegetable market, the Asian Museum), Mount Pantokratos, and the beaches of Paleokastritsa. Of course, there are a few other attractions we saw during our cruise or our previous stay in Corfu (Achilleion - Sisi's Palace, Mon Repos Park - Prince Philip's birthplace, the Durrells villas and village). I recommend it to everyone.
