    We were in room 205 which is small and not well planned. The only table is already full with kettle coffee tea and cups. The chair under the TV is almost useless. During check-in I’m told of mini bar charges but there isn’t a fridge in the room. I asked about it and they offered the staff fridge for use which was kind. The staff were always helpful. I didn’t like that they put RM100 on my credit card while I was out looking for a money changer. I paid for our 3 night stay with cash, now have to wait at least 7 days for my deposit to be refunded to the card. The bed linen and towels are getting tired. Despite all of the above I would recommend hotel but just be aware.

    Very convenient if you like to roam the jonker street area. Rooms are basic. Staff are friendly.

    The lcoation was ideal (walking distance to all attractions and cafes) but the hotel rooms are tiny. The first night we couldn't sleep due to light through glass windows - the staff didn't know how to switch off the light. They moved us to a room with no windows the next night, which solved the problem of the light, but, the bed was terribly uncomfortable (very old) and the towels were smelly. Overall not a pleasant night's sleep either. The room is very small, there is no space for luggage. There is no luggage rack, and one tiny table in the corner. There is no fridge (a hole in the cupboard where the fridge should be!) and even though they say its for a couple and an infant (we booked the superior room), two adults could hardly walk in the room without crashing into each other! The staff are friendly but not helpful. When we made a fuss about the light the only option they could give us (no refund, no money back - so we couldn't leave to find another hotel) but they just provided us with an offer of free local breakfast (which we didn't take). We later learnt they have many sister properties, we visited them, they had empty rooms, but no effort was made to move us. Will definitely not stay there again.
