Check in was a little confusing because the location is different from the actual room. Other than that the room was very clean and modern. The area around was a little below average but still walkable to almost anything.

Very unfriendly check in. Directions were scribbled and covered with circles he drew while clearly irritated being at work. Took long time to find the deluxe rooms. Codes are good but very sensitive - took many tries to actually get it to work. Water pressure is awesome! Room was very clean and the common area cozy but unusable really. Too far to go to main hotel for breakfast. But BOLOGNA is absolutely stunning!

I stayed in the apartments section of the hotel. Did not feel safe as main door was always found open. The shower hose was broken and I was not able to shower on the first day. Also there is no cleaning only once a week.

We were here for 1 night on September 20 and it was about 80 degrees out. The property was separate from the Astoria hotel which we new from the listing but it was quite difficult to find, We were hot and sweating and frustrated trying to find it. Luckily we saw a man in the area and he was very nice to point us in the right direction. When we got to the first door, the key pad was very touchy and it took at least 5 times to be able to get the door open. Our room was big, clean and modern with a very nice bathroom and shower, but it was hot and humid and the air conditioning did little to nothing. We set the air on 18 and it would run for a while then shut off for a bit even though it was still hot in the room, plus it only ran on one speed - low! We took cold showers and I didn’t use the blow dryer because it was already too hot in there. We left the air on and went to dinner. We were gone for 3 hours and when we got back after dark the room had barely cooled! Since it was cooler outside we opened the window and left the air on. The window opened to a rooftop surrounded by other buildings and it was quiet outside. There was no screen but we there weren’t any bugs at all outside and nothing came in all night.There was only a sheet on the bed and no blanket which didn’t matter since we didn’t even pull up the sheet until the middle of the night because it was so warm! Glad we only had 1 night here. We both like to sleep in a cool room and we would never stay here again.

Could not find the room using the location provided from Hotels.com’s link. The room’s location was not precise enough. Resulting in several phones calls, a walk to the hotel, were they provided a map with unclear instructions to the room’s location. The map was not useful. Luckily a non English speaking gentleman helped us find the room by using our phone to talk to the hotel staff. The room didn’t meet our expectations. The room was small and I couldn’t get the air conditioner to turn on using the remote control. We were offered a room in the hotel for 40 more euro.

Hi Astoria - it was not a very pleasant stay at your hotel. I don't think you can call the room deluxe. Aircondition wasn't on when we arrived. We couldn't make it work probably, it didn't cool that much. The smell in the room was not nice. The service was bad. It was hard to get the door code to work. The wifi didn't work, the password to it was not accepted . As it did not do for some other guests as well. I which we had booked another hotel

Didn’t realize that where the check in desk was located was different than the unit where we would be staying. The instructions the staff gave was confusing and we had to go back and have someone show us the location. Our unit was on the main floor and had a terrible view. The A/C unit was loud and rattled noisily on and off.

Regular. The rooms have been under a renovation and look fine but the check-in is 2 blocks away and the staff is not friendly at all. There is no room service nor housekeeping so do not expect to get new towels or make the bed during the whole stay. In my opinion that is inconceivable. Overall, I would rate the stay with a 6/10

Wasted two hours waiting for the reception to get me an air conditioning remote. The room was not good ventilated and outside it was 26 degrees which felt like 30 inside. At last had to go to the reception from the apartment. No sorry, no thank you.

The room is clean an spacious but there is no facilities, no Wifi in the room and the AC is very weak and needs to run always to keep the room at a good temperature. There is a common kitchen but no glasses or cups, water heater or cutlery so no way to have a tea or a microwave to heat anything up. Bed is big but no blanket only the sheet. The check in is 2 blocks away and access to the room is with a code. No room service available. Overall a place to sleep next to the train station but not a comfortable place to stay for more than a night

It took us two hours to drive in circles to finally find out the address given to me in the reservation is not where we checked in. In addition the address is in a court yard that one will never find until a neighbor shows it to you. We eventually found out that we had to go to a different address to check in, and this information is in the fine print of the confirmation email. The kitchen is for decoration only and nothing works including the microwave. The room was nice but Unless you know what to Do as a repeat visitor, i wouldn't recommend the place.

Good quiet location close to station... but difficult to locate street # of property. Warm friendly greeting from manager was appreciated together with assistance of local map. Within walking distance to old town. Would appreciate facility to make a cup of tea ( not just a coffee pod machine).
