The room was lovely in all details and spotlessly clean (especially the spacious bathroom). It was also very quiet. I have never stayed at a b&b with more attentive and welcoming staff--Maria and Robert are great! The breakfast was hot, fresh, made to order, and delicious--and even served on warmed plates! It was just my wife and me staying there, but if we had had children with us, it would have been fine--I would just have reminded them that we were in a beautiful place, and we needed to do our part to keep it that way!

My husband and I so enjoyed our recent stay at Maria’s. Our room was very spacious, very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was located on the ground floor facing a creek with a very quiet setting.
The homemade breakfasts that Maria served were excellent with fresh fruit, eggs, sausage and an amazing French toast. In addition, we had some great conversations with Maria and her husband Robert sharing their history and so much local information on Alaska.
This place is definitely a gem to stay at for travelers!
