This is what happens when a hotel is run by inexperienced, incompetent, indifferent, dishonest, and shady owners, management, and staff. They falsely advertise a 5-star ultra all-inclusive experience, but at best, it’s a very old, run-down, poorly managed 2-star hotel. The food selection is poor, offering only the cheapest options, and the same choices are repeated daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many times, there’s no meat available, and they often run out of edible food within 30 minutes of opening. Coffee is only available from a machine that dispenses it in paper cups, using low-quality instant coffee and powdered milk. All drinks and juices are the lowest quality, made from powder, and served in cheap, single-use plastic cups. They taste worse than Kool-Aid. If you want freshly squeezed orange juice, you’ll need to pay $4 for it from a bazaar-like stand they set up occasionally in the dining area. The hotel doesn’t feel safe. Cars, motorbikes, and even full-sized garbage trucks drive through the premises as if on city streets. Hotel staff roam around, live, and hang out in the hotel area, making it feel more like a city street than a private hotel. There’s no gym. The management and maintenance are poor, with mold, leaking toilets, dirty tables, stained tablecloths, and towels. The cheap plastic furniture everywhere makes you feel like you're sitting in a low-end café in the city, not at a proper hotel.
