This is a 100 yr old property that has been updated but a while ago. The rooms are small but the owner/staff was excellent and the stay was enjoyable. They included a made to order breakfast. Peterlee is a little out of the way but matched where we were going. Just stayed one night.

Everything was fantastic. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room exceeded my expectations. Regulars in the bar were friendly, Brian was so funny. I work away from home 2-3 days a week, the Bell is the best I've stayed in.
Wish I was in the area more often.
