We enjoyed a beautiful 1 night stay. Staff were amazing, so kind and helpful. Food was exceptional. Rooms and building are dated but honestly everything else makes up for it. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for prime location . If you can spend a bit extra and get lake view room though

Location: quiet and good Lake view and Onsen were nice Room: tiny and very old, the facilities were poor, Kettle were dirty Staffs and breakfast: Average They asked us to choose a breakfast time and told us that 6:30 a.m. was the only option available. But when we actually went down for breakfast, when we finished around 7:10 a.m., there were only 3–4 family groups and the restaurant was basically half empty. It was pretty annoying to be told to come so early when there was clearly plenty of space and no crowd at all. Overall, not worthy for over ***/ Yen night, we won’t stay it again.
