It was a little weird for the bathroom to just be slightly opaque glass rather than an actual wall, bit voyeuristic. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, hotel was nice, staff was very kind.

Clean and tidy, 15 min walk to lively areas, windows open you will hear trains screatching all night long, not a problem for me but my partner woke up a few times each night. But good value non the less.

I arrived an hour and a half before check in and the girl on the desk wouldn’t allow me to my room. I had to sit in the lobby until 3 o clock. I only got off a flight. I was exhausted and in need of a shower. Other hotels allow an early check in if the room is ready, and my room was ready. It was bad service. Nobody offered any help while I struggled up the stairs with my heavy luggage. The staff, or the people standing around looking. Good manners no longer exist. My room was tiny and the mattress was filthy and ripped. I dared not look at the rest of the mattress for fear I wouldn’t sleep on it, and I wouldn’t get a refund if I didn’t want the room. I didn’t sleep much because the walls are so thin and the person above me was banging and dragging things around the floor until late in the night. I definitely would not stay here again.

Hotel is 15 min walk from Copenhagen central station. Room is extremely small , no amenities provided- no kettle, fridge, tea/coffee sashays, not even drinking water bottles. A cup of hot water was chargeable!!!!! Overall, expected much more from a supposedly 4 star hotel.

This is extremely basic hotel. In your room, no coffe maker, no microwave, no fridge. They even charge you for hot water if you want to make some tea. Staff are very rude when I ask for a replacement for the pillow that we have in our room because it was very smelly.

Easy hotel to stay with good location. Rental bikes were available. Room A/C was not very powerful at first. There is no gym. Breakfast is very average.

Overall the stay was fine. Our room barely fit our luggage, knew the room would be small, but not so small would have to take turns opening suitcases. The bed was not very comfortable, just a place to sleep. Highlight of the stay - the breakfast bar + staff was friendly.

I planned on staying at this hotel during my trip to Copenhagen, however a personal emergency occurred. This was before my check-in time so I reached out to see if I could push my reservation into the future. The hotel staff was not helpful and dismissed my issue stating “No refunds” when I never asked for a refund. They then ignored my communications. Would not recommend based on customer service, or lack there of as numerous attempts to call, email and discuss the situation despite wanting to reside at the hotel the following weekend were ignored and denied.

Staff was not friendly; the overall hotel service felt like it was "all about business". Everything was a charge; not even drinking water was complementary. The first thing I was told after checking in was that there is no room cleaning unless I request it in advance. I arrived 2 hours early due to flight timing and when asked if I could do early check in, the response was yes but only for an extra fee even though the room was ready. As I said, everything was a charge!

I always feel welcomed when staying at Wakeup Hotel. The buffet team is incredibly kind and friendly, and the reception staff is helpful and attentive. I also appreciate how discreet and considerate the cleaning staff are. The building is well located and well maintained, which adds to the overall comfort of the stay. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to freshen up the lobby area, especially the sofas, to better match the rest of the hotel’s standard. Overall, Wakeup Hotel offers a comfortable and pleasant stay in Copenhagen.

Totally heartless hotel. My dad passed away a week before my stay at the hotel and they refused to refund me for the 3 nights I had booked. hotel.com has tried really hard to contact the hotel and discuss with the hotel manager for an exception to be granted. Hotel.com is not to fault at all. The hotel stated their ‘limits in ability to make changes or issue a refund’. In fact they didn’t want to hear anything about it and didn’t care. Very sad to see such behaviour and zero compassion from a hotel management in this difficult time….

I asked if I could have an extra pillow to accommodate my sleeping preferences. I was informed that you have a “one pillow per guest policy.” I asked if you could make an exception, as the pillow I received was very flat, but I was told there were no exceptions or possibility to replace the pillow. The room had a curtain that was too short to properly block out the light, and you had to stand on the bed to close it, which is dangerous for someone with poor balance. I also noticed in the morning that both the pillow and the bed had blood stains from previous guests.

Cheap hotel close to railway, but not worth it. Breakfast was poor, better of going somewhere else. The rooms were small, thoug they were “the big rooms”. Curtains unable to keep light out, meaning its bright from early morning. Poor service, charges a lot to store suitcases, better of using that miney and upgrade to a better hotel

Modern hotel bit off the city centers commotion but still within walking distance from Tivoli and central railway station. Vesterbro district is just across the tracks and Fisketorvet mall close by too. Had great view over the city but the railway noise might be an issue. Ok breakfast buffet served.
