We love the blythswood. We stayed here two weeks ago and we had the most amazing stay. Last night was unfortunately slightly disappointing. It did not have the wow factor like normal. There was no greeting at the door, no offer to help with car or bags. We had received prosecco on arrival two weeks ago, but not yesterday. Our room was on the bottom floor which was fine. Spa was absolutely mobbed - we saw staff turn away guests due to how busy it was in the limited spa hours. We were only given one set of slippers in our room. The moisturiser didn’t work so couldn’t use it after the shower. We did have a nice time but nothing stood out compared to normal. If this was our first stay I don’t think we would have rushed back.

Spa access is restricted however this is totally understandable and the facilities are amazing. Overall the hotel, staff and facilities were outstanding. Breakfast was fabulous! Well worth the money.
