Interesting building well adapted. Excellent location in a very interesting, historic town. Close to NT properties and other sites of interest.
Check in advertised as from 2:00pm. seemed surprised to see us at 4:00pm but well looked after eventually. Told drinks would be available from 5:00pm and food from 6:00pm. Asked to see a menu at 6:30 and told no food available on a Monday. helpful directions given to another establishment that was serving food!
Good breakfast with excellent personal service on Tuesday. Seemed to be understaffed?/

Lovely old pub with very nice hotel accommodation. Very good breakfast too.

this was a stop off for the start of our holiday, we were meant to be going to Salisbury races, but it was abandoned due to heavy rain, never the less it did not stop us enjoying our stay at this beautiful hotel, we had an amazing stay and it was very clean and all the staff were extremely polite and pleasant.
