The room was clean. The nicest part of the stay was the beautiful grounds with lots of birds, beautiful plants, etc.

Everything was perfect with this place, such a beautiful place overlooking the volcano from my bedroom. The garden with lots of flowers and trees were a real treat. We had a visit from a gentle dog who stayed with us for a while.

We enjoyed our time here. It’s a beautifully kept property with a great view of tropical plants and many birds from the weather protected porch. Most of our stay was very quiet- because nobody was in the adjoining units. We did hear one neighbor’s conversation one night in the next unit when that was occupied.
We heard 14 different (verified by app) bird songs in ten minutes one morning. Staff was helpful. The room was nicely equipped and clean. The bed could be softer but we still slept OK. The jacuzzi worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water.
Issues: the listing on hotels.com said that laundry facilities were available. Two different employees confirmed that they aren’t.
Also, the in-room coffee maker had a dead moth in the water tank and didn’t work well before or after it was rinsed out.
Out of clean clothes, we were directed to drive to a local laundry service. That cost us a whopping $22 USD for one grocery bag full of clothes (about 9 pounds) - laundry services aren’t cheap around there. Hotels.com made things right, to their credit.
Overall, still a nice place to stay in a nice natural setting. We would happily stay here again.
