La Fortuna Natural Green

The property was beautiful! The staff were so friendly. We had the best time and would definitely come back!

Loved the general presentation and how green it was - lovely to sit on the deck and spot birds. Lots of nice bars/restaurants close by.

Slightly variable breakfast but otherwise great!

We loved the natural setting in beautiful gardens with lots of birdlife. So nice to be staying in place not far from town but surrounded by nature.

The staff could make a bit more effort to be welcoming on arrival. What is baffling about this place is there was not a towel rail to hang towels, which requires getting fresh ones every day. It rains a lot in this part of Costa Rica so some hooks to hang wet clothing after hiking would be a very welcome addition. The lighting is very dim so we needed to use our flashlights to find things from our bags.

The setting and surroundings were beautiful. I love that it was close to a stream. I liked the extra space we had in our family room, including an outdoor kitchen.

I thought our room would have a jacuzzi tub included with it. This is part of the reason I booked the room there. When I arrived, I was told the family room doesn't include a jacuzzi tub. I asked if there was an option for us to share or use another jacuzzi tub, and I was told there wasn't. Also, the breakfast did not taste good. The eggs were under-salted, and everything we tried was not good. We had two mornings of breakfast here and both mornings we were disappointed. The third bed in the room was not comfortable at all. Perhaps it was supposed to be a "kids bed," but I ended up sleeping there and did not get good sleep.
