The business was closed during our reserved stay. A sign on door stating they were closed. I am trying to get my deposit returned to me but the business is claiming they were open. I took several pictures of the building and the sign that proves my statement to be true.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was really good but we had to get our luggage at 2 pm because the office closes early. It also took us 10 minutes to unlock our door.

An economic choice to visit Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, etc. using train . Breakfast was good. Helpful staff. Not many dining options. Somewhat isolated from main towns. No air conditioning, but fairly comfortable in hot weather.. Sometimes noisy gatherings at bar below front rooms.

This is not a hotel. It’s a restaurant and a meat shop with some rooms on top. The building/room/beds/mattress/pillows and sheets are in horrible shape. It’s hot, loud and bright. The person who gave me the key for the room was extremely rude. Stay somewhere else!!!

Is well located (key if you are going to Hallstatt), you can walk to the train station and go to Hallstatt in few minutes and and for few euros. Not much around, service not really friendly and building seems old. Food is not good neither bad. If you plan only to stay because you are going somewhere else maybe yes

Property is located in a very quiet area from one rail stop away from famous Hallstatt. it is little bit old, but they are working with renovation so it can be much better very soon on May24. There are not many places to eat outside and no shop, but there is bakery nearby and offers great choice of pastries. Very beautiful and scenery area, about 1,5km walk to the lake.

Property was undergoing renovation, therefore its was messy, a bit more of country living. Beds were hard and pillows were too flat. We could use a few more pillows. The staff were nice, but they’re not around after 6pm. So if you need anything you need to ask before that. The cafe next to the accommodation is really good. And the breakfast was awesome. So my reviews are mixed..

No one was there to check us in. Fortunately a local women helped us. We had not received a password to get our key and the reception hours was not the same as on Expedia. No one had told us about this. The room was really small and very old, like something from the 1970s. There was no AC or any personal. Very expensive but so not worth the money! We will never go there again!

We had the best experience here! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The buffet lunch is absolutely amazing and they make everything in house every day. The rooms were cute and felt like we were in a little cabin. Can’t beat the price and waking up to the view is worth it enough. Would definitely come back!!!!

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and I spend at least 1-2 nights per week in a hotel. The service is atrocious. The staff do not speak any English - which is fine, but they made no effort to communicate with us. When we first checked in, they kept scrolling past our reservation and ignoring us when we told them they had missed us. Instead, they tried to insist we didn't have a reservation. Once we got this sorted out, they neglected to tell us that the whole hotel would be locked 9PM. They didn't give us a night key, so we almost got locked out - luckily my boyfriend found another customer who spoke both German and English, and he was able to translate. The staff then acted extremely annoyed at having to give us a house key. The best part is - when we tried to leave in the morning, the hotel was locked FROM THE INSIDE. So not only did they almost lock us out, they also almost LOCKED US IN. We tried asking staff for help multiple times, but they ignored us while pounding beers at the restaurant bar. The rooms are run down. We had handles missing on furniture, sheets of questionable cleanliness, and windows that let bright light in due to sheer curtains. The walls were so thin that you could hear anything your neighbors were saying. The hotel is also a meat factory, so it reeks. On top of this, there is construction in Hallstatt so it takes 20-30 min to get there during daytime traffic, not 5. In short... avoid this place.
