Hotel City Savoy

We picked this hotel as our initial booking in a different accommodation was canceled due to host. It was a crowded weekend due to an event and it seems was a great choice. As we drove, I needed a parking spot. I found in some reviews that the parking spot need to be reserved and it cost 10 eur/day. I have mentioned this need into my booking, but it was not clear that this request will be fulfilled. I have tried to contact the hotel and initially used a wrong email address but finally they confirmed. The parking is at the Hotel lateral, and cars are parked bulk. You need to leave the car keys at the reception so that they can move the cars if some want to get out. It worked for me, but if you are anxious about your car, you should be aware of this. The hotel location is great, close to the restaurant's main street and center. Hotel looks good, looking clean. Room is nice. I would be preferred a normal room as we stayed at the attic, but this was reasonable also. The window curtains were not facilitating the absence of light in the morning, but not a big problem. Breakfast looked fantastic with plenty of choices. Not all on my taste, but very variate. Coffee could be better as they serve filter coffee, not expresso. After I checked out, I requested to leave the car in the parking for an additional hour for us to have lunch and they were nice and accepted. Overall, I recommend this hotel and I will consider it when going back to Belgrade.
