Fantastic stay. Great restaurant. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. Very popular place to have a drink. The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square. 2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel. All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out. One thing that is NOT unique to Austria at all is lack of AC. That is just how just about every hotel is going to be so it requires some planning on opening windows and such. I had a single room and it was great for a solo traveler including a comfortable chair and desk to work at. Plenty of room. Great bed.

Right in the centre of Bad Hofgastein, in the pedestrianised area, close to everything. Free parking was couple of hundred meters away rom the hotel. Staff at the hotel were friendly from check-in to check out. We needed to leave early on the day of departure, before the start of breakfast but it wasn't a problem to go for breakfast earlier. A bit too small room, three suitcases is to much for three beds, wifi not so good. Otherwise very nice hotel, good food and breakfast. Hotel located in the middle of the Town near the fountain. The area surroundings is fabulous!

We wanted to stay in Bad Gastien but due to no availability there, we stayed in Hot Bad Gastien and chose the Hotel Salzburghof. This was such a pleasant surprise! The village is lovely, and the hotel is great. The restaurant is lovely with nice food, They offer an amazing breakfast and the rooms are very comfortable. Don't be put off by the green carpet - this place is a gem! We really enjoyed visiting the the Therma in Hot Bad Gastien, which we preferred to the one in Bad Gastien, going on local hikes and taking the bus up the valley to Bad Gastien. There's so much to do and it's easy to get around without a car.

We got a really good deal, so for us it was totally worth the price. Clean, comfortable and reasonably close to werfen ice caves and Lichtensteinklamm. Also a lot of good hiking options in the area we unfortunately didn't have time to explore. Seemed to have decent skiing as well but we were there off season.

WE stayed as it was recommended in a skiing guide book. Check-in etc was very efficient, but when we came to settle our bill we had to pay the local tourist tax , although it was clearly shown as included I our pre-paid bill

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salzburger Hof, especially our 2 year old son. Room was excellent with modern facilities, very good dinner and breakfast, fast and friendly service, and very accommodating of additional requests like an early breakfast. Nice, central location, close to spa and shops. We hope to stay again in the future.

Stayed for 6 nights and everything was great. Son loved Chill Out room with Xbox and Play Station. Staff helpful with great English. Breakfast was ample and a bonus with lots of choice. Great location. There was a reasonable option to upgrade to Evening Meal but we just ate at different places including off their al a carte menu. Bedrooms had Austrian feel but modern and very clean.
