    Perfect hotel for travellers as the location is perfect with all the best parts of Portsmouth within walking distance.

    We have just stayed at this hotel, literally a few minutes walk to historic dockyard, the hotel itself is very nice, with very welcoming reception staff, but think that the room we stayed in let it down, the beds were clean and the bathroom, but felt it could do with updating a bit as shabby in places, not sure if they are in a middle of a refit as the library looks new, the hotel is also near shops and pubs, and if you can time it right there is free parking at the hotel for you visit, we arrived in the morning managed to get a space and it wasn’t a problem going off to explore till we could check in, I would stay there again because of the location but only if I could get a good deal on a room rate which I felt I did
