Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. Free shuttles up to Gora in the morning are also a bonus (although you'll have to get yourself to Asante in the afternoon/evening as they don't offer shuttles then). Overall a great experience.

Very nice and cozy hotel to relax. And their onsen was really good as you can book it for a private use.

A wonderful little gem, the friendliest staff of our whole trip. The rooms are nice, the communal eating/lounge area is wonderful, with big light windows onto the garden and with toasty woodburner and the food is delicious. Best Ramen I had in Japan! but the best bit is the onsen, which we used twice per day, such a relaxing and welcoming space
