The property is located in a remote area in Yamanashi Prefecture, perfect for a relaxing stay. The vegetarian menu offered was delicious! Staff there super friendly and helpful!

Far away from Shibuya, we traveled over 3 hours via public transportation to get here. We arrived at night, and it was a nice adventure with family. My family really enjoyed the stay as it was immersive. There was a lot of detail to dinner and breakfast. We only stayed for 1 night for the morning prayer, which was an experience in itself. I enjoyed the long staircase which I didn’t get the chance to run up and be sore for the whole trip. There’s a lot to do here in terms of activity, and the staff is quite impressive being fluent in English. The price was a bit much for me, but with everything considered, it was worth it as it put a smile on my family face. I was in a land that I was not familiar with, but my experience was met with welcoming arms. My father bowed his head as he left out of respect.

I highly recommend staying at this ryokan. It can be kinda hard to get there from Tokyo by public transport, so I recommend driving. Make sure to have enough time to explore the area and partake in activities arranged by the ryokan. The staff was super nice and accommodating. They speak English and can accommodate to food allergies.
