宿の周りがしずかで良かった。他に蚊の心配をしましたが、蚊取りが付いていて部屋に蚊がいませんでした。 また、夜に駐車場で線香花火をして楽しみました。 集落に商店が無いので道の駅富士川で野菜、卵、桃などを買い、富士川町の街で地元の馬刺などを仕入れて美味しい夕飯になりました。

古民家の雰囲気を大切にしながらも宿泊者が快適に滞在できるようオーナーの方が清潔にメンテナンスされていました。朝はウグイスの声で目覚めましたが、日々の喧騒から離れ、久しぶりの自然の中で癒されました。
小さな集落ですので飲食店はあまりないので、事前に営業時間の確認と必要に応じて宿泊施設に向かう前にスーパー等で食材・惣菜等を購入しておいたほうが良いです。
