The rooms were small and cramped - keep running into things. The bathroom had a sewer type of smell. The breakfast was nice and the location was excellent. Overall it was not too bad, but I would probably look for something else when I come to Madrid again.

Great location. However, the building and room is quite tired and in need of repair and maintenance. For example the curtails were falling down and difficult to open due to the fact several curtail runners were missing. Also the hairdresser only worked intermittently and was reported a couple of times. The air conditioning needs maintenance. Plus Netflix access would go a miss.

Fabulous hotel, great location... quirky rooms but in a great way, really liked it.
We were greeted at hotel reception by the most amazing, friendly man from Syria who was full of great recommendations, tips, advice etc for our stay, he was very helpful and spoke very good English.

The hotel was charming, located perfectly for visiting the Prado and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious.
