Regina Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast was lovely. Flippo was a little crazy. He kept kissing my wife Melissa. Maybe lonely? Enjoyed the stay and the host very much.

Renovated and super clean adorable bed and breakfast. Walking distance to almost everything with a very friendly host. We loved the rooftop deck and breakfasts. We would stay again for sure.

There are places you visit, and then there are people you remember. Regina Bed and Breakfast in Tivoli became much more than a place to sleep for us — largely because of Filippo. After dragging our suitcases uphill through Tivoli’s streets and stairways from the train station, he suddenly appeared and greeted us by name in the street with open arms, as if we were old friends arriving home. From that moment, everything became easy. Filippo planned our days so they made practical sense, arranged taxis to Villa Adriana, recommended wonderful restaurants, called and booked tables for us himself, and even decided the perfect dinner times like a true Italian host who genuinely cares that you experience his city the right way. Every morning felt personal: fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, homemade cake baked by his wife, and long warm conversations in perfect English delivered with unmistakable Italian passion. What made the stay special was not luxury in the traditional sense. It was warmth, pride, generosity and humanity. He even shared stories about the building during World War II and proudly told us about his newborn child. Somewhere during those days, Filippo stopped feeling like a host and started feeling like a friend. If you want authentic Italian hospitality with heart and soul, Regina Bed and Breakfast is something rare.
