It was a Calm and beautiful accomodation. Everything was provided, from towels, toiletteries and coffee. Everything was very neat and clean. I had a small room with a very good bad and a niche to put luggage and clothes. Everything was thought through. The nice surpise was the Chess Field! Very nice … I Like the Ideal of leaving one‘s shoes at the entrance to keep Everything clean. Also the carpets made it cozy and avoided noise of steps when passing other guest‘s rooms. I Liked the Idea the Codes to enter room and accomodation! I will come back…

We had a very positive experience at Neocolonial Nouveau Kensington during our recent stay in Vancouver. It was our first time staying in an "Aparthotel" style accommodation, and we found it both convenient and enjoyable. The Guest Services team was warm and welcoming—they made us feel right at home, which added a special touch to our visit. We’d like to offer a few constructive suggestions to help enhance future guest experiences: - As is typical with aparthotel setups, privacy may be more limited compared to traditional hotels. - The room felt smaller than a standard hotel room. - Sharing a single bathroom among three guest groups was quite uncomfortable. - It would be helpful to clearly inform all guests that quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, we truly appreciated the thoughtful hospitality and would consider staying again. Thank you for helping make our Vancouver visit enjoyable.

This place is like a hostel with private rooms but shared bathrooms and kitchen. Very quirky, but in a cool way. We had a private balcony off our room which was delightful to sit and have our coffee in the mornings.

I am so thrilled with my stay at this beautiful guesthouse! I really appreciated the clear instructions/guide that was provided by the host, as I was a little bit nervous checking in and entering the property so late in the evening - but it was a very straightforward and simple process. The area was very quiet and peaceful, with a coffee shop and some restaurants/shops within a 15 minute walk. The house itself was beautifully decorated and maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable beyond my expectations. The ac unit was also easy to operate and worked like a dream! Bathroom was clean, well-stocked with amenities, and the ceiling shower was top-notch. If you are the type of traveller who is comfortable with sharing common spaces with other guests, this is the stay for you. I couldn’t imagine finding a better value and quality of accommodations within such a reasonable price point in Vancouver. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be sure to return the next time I’m in the city. Thank you!

Be on look for the email with the door code and instructions, I hadn’t checked it before my arrival and it caused a bit of confusion for me. Other than that, the place is conveniently located, and it felt very much at during the whole stay. I definitely would stay again, especially if I needed a longer stay.

The property was comfortable and clean. The decor was nicely done, and the bathroom and kitchen were well appointed. I'm generally not a fan of sharing a bathroom, but it was only with one other room and never caused any issues. The location is a nice, quiet neighborhood. The main negative is that it isn't located particularly close to anything, and taxi fare in Vancouver isn't particularly cheap. There are shops and restaurants about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away in several directions. There seemed to be plenty of availability for on street parking, so this is a great place to bring a car.
