Like other reviews have mentioned, there is a mold problem in the bathrooms. There was mold and mildew on the wallpaper, the shower head and the seal around the door.
The carpet was dirty and I wore slides while I was in the room.
Parking is $35 at the hotel lot but if you drive around the area, you can find free street parking. They also charge a $20 resort fee on top of your room rate.
It’s one of the more affordable places in Waikiki but it definitely feels a bit neglected. I had a short layover, but one night is the max I would stay at this hotel.

The hotel was a great price for the location for our 10 night stay. It's right in downtown Waikiki with multiple bus stops and car rentals options nearby. The beachfront is a fast 5 to 10 minute walk. Also, the pool was basically private.. every time we went no one else was there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning fan was a little weak but cool enough to be a nice welcome.
